No to bych chtel slyseta.tom.x píše:No tak vzácnost to celkem je.

V CLASSIC TRACKS je Stevie Wonder 'Pastime Paradise' .. Par fotiek :

The Yamaha GX1 'Dream Machine' used to great effect on 'Pastime Paradise'.
In the case of 'Pastime Paradise', a Yamaha GX1 served as the starting point. A huge and powerful polyphonic analogue synthesizer, with chrome pedestals and a curved metallic body, the GX1 — introduced in 1973 as a forerunner to the CS80 — housed three keyboards, a pedal-board, a ribbon controller that produced modulation changes, two swell pedals and a spring-loaded knee controller, along with a variety of buttons and switches to program, store and recall sounds. The top three-quarter-scale, three-octave, 37-note keyboard had half-size keys and offered unprecedented touch control; the other two five-octave, 61-note standard-size keyboards were equally functional, with horizontal position control enabling the player to achieve effects such as vibrato by moving the keys side-to-side.
Since the GX1 was invented as a test-bed for later consumer synths, only a few were built, and among the purchasers were Keith Emerson of ELP, Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones and Stevie Wonder, who quickly labelled it 'The Dream Machine' and employed it innovatively on Songs In The Key Of Life, by way of some highly expressive string sounds on both 'Village Ghetto Land' and 'Pastime Paradise'.

GX1 voices were programmed onto matchbox-sized cartridges. Each cartridge had 26 screw-sized dials on it to change the VCO, VCF, VCA and envelope of the voice. Seventy cartridges in total were loaded into racks that emerged from the top of the console. Rob Arbittier demonstrates how the GX1 modules are inserted.

Celkem 850 kg živé váhy a vyvolávačka 25000 Euro.

To pay homage to perfection: That is the goal of the Olympus Sound System. Its claim is simple: to be the most ambitious, most complex, and most innovative of all existing speaker systems.
Every last bit of creative, mechanical and technical potential ADAM scientists could call on has been realized in this loudspeaker system. It is actually accurate to call it incomparable, since it is completely unique and therefore in a class of its own. All aspects of the best possible sound reproduction regardless of costs or size have been optimized and integrated in a surprising new concept. Every detail has been painstakingly pored over with the utmost meticulousness.
We proudly present a system consisting of eight columns, twelve built-in amplifiers, sixty (yes, 60!) individual drivers and a DSP “brain”. Due to the modular nature of the system, a variety of fascinating and comprehensive designs are possible. From the outset, the Olympus knew only one purpose: to realize a loudspeaker system that gets closer to perfection than any other.
As little as language can convey the impact of music, so little can words begin to communicate the sonic experience produced by this loudspeaker system. There is only one way to truly become a believer – to make the acquaintance of this milestone in the development of audio reproduction… but be prepared to spend some time - it will be an acquaintance of a unique kind…an experience you will never forget.
