Jestli ano, tak jenom objasnuji:
Tenhle tread je o vyvoji TI OS. Jelikoz po par dnech se situace uklidnila a problemy maji jenom jednici co necetli manual a nekde udelali chybu, a nebo jedinci co opravdu dostali poskozeny HW, tak se muze zdat, ze to tu zdechlo ... ale nezdechlo.
Pravidelne kontroluji nove verze OS, a stahuji je abych vedel co se v HISTORII zmenilo a mohl to sem doplnit.
Osobne si rad pockam dva mesice na poradnou recenzi z realneho nasazeni, nez cist nejaky rychlokvasky, co to maji na vikend pujceny z shopu, a po sobotni kalbe vyblejou v nedeli recenzi, ktera nema zadnou vypovidajici hodnotu. Podobne "recenze" na webu jiz jsou, ale hamba by me fackovala sem dat link !

I am using Logic 7.1.1 and every new Firmware update I hope for the VControl to work. and sure, you can open it up, load presets and even change parameters with the mouse. but if you grab a knob on the hardware, BAM! it crashes like a drunk guy in a pinto. so after I installed the 1.06 update, I opened logic, loaded the Virus control, loaded some sounds, nothing new, so when I was done, I was like "ok time to close logic, I'll do the crash test"
So I grabbed the filter on the Hardware, and did a big filter sweep waiting for my audio to cut out and have logic crash.but instead..... the timbre changed, and I saw a little thing in the GUI move. i was like "huh....your supposed to crash!" so I grabbed the soft knobs and went nuts, no crash, I changed patches, turned every knob I could......NO CRASH!!!
the virus control seems 100% usable to me now.

Virus TIOS 1.1 Details
Version 1.1 features an array of enhancements and new functionalities and will be available during February, 2006. Besides improved stability, there are two new browser functions ("Sort By Category" and "Search by Name") and the new Remote Mode to turn the Virus TI into a univeral midi control surface.
VIRUSControl can now automatically build banks based on sound categories. Every Virus TI patch is stored with one or two categories. This information can now be used to easily search for specific sounds regardless of the patch name.
"Search by Name" allows you to enter a string of text and search for patches by name (including partial match) among all onboard sounds and in sound banks stored on your computer's hard drive. It is lightning fast and can literally search ten thousand patches in a couple of milliseconds.
New remote mode turns the Virus TI into a fully programmable universal MIDI control surface with 32 knobs. Up to 32 preset scenes can be stored in the hardware, each storing up to 32 midi knob assignments and names. Remote Mode does not interfere with the sound engine and can operate as standalone hardware or in your sequencer with VirusControl. Access will provide a library of remote templates which can also be edited using VirusControl, and users can also create and share their own templates.

This is an updated status and progress info on OS version 1.1 for the Virus TI series of synthesizers.
For a while we found ourselves in a fairly tricky situation. It was expressed so many times (not by us though) that 1.1 will be the problem solver for everybody and everything and for obvious reasons that puts extra pressure on us. "Extra" in the respect that it is harder to put out a OS release which would be "good enough" to satisfy.
In software development, there is always room for fixing and improving things - and things often takes more time than expected.
OS1.1 was planned to be just another feature update but turned into something more. If we would have released 1.1 as it was planned back in December, we would have easily made it in February.
The good news is: right now, we are wrapping things up. By the end of the week we plan to issue a "release candidates" to our testers. A release candidate is another beta version but from this point onwards to the release version there will be no further additions.
There has been reworks on many core parts of the virus control, drivers and the virus TIOS. We have tripled our beta tester base and to be honest, we have learned a lot.
I think there is a good chance that we will release 1.1 within 2-4 weeks from now on - obviously just in case nothing unpredictable will happen from now on. From the release onward we hope to put out versions more frequently again in order to present you with an improved version quicker.
We have considered releasing a public beta but decided against it. A public beta which is supposed to fix important problems doesn't help much - unless you can truly say that it will fix those things. It's still a beta and there is still a reason why it's not a release build.

Osobne si myslim, ze TI predbehlo docela dobu, takze to bude na delsi dobu virus posledni. Waldorf pomalu oziva a pokud Clavia nevymysli nejaky delo, tak lidi z ACCESSu muzou klidne spat. Tedy spat ... spat muzou az TI vyladej
